Pudhe Chala

Pudhe Chala is a broadcast feature made by the students of SCMSophia, focusing on women drivers and what changes their deployment has brought to their own lives and that of women passengers. BEST, Mumbai's civic transport service has taken the decision to train and employ women drivers. Laxmi Jadhav, 42, is the first woman who took up this challenge to drive BEST buses in Mumbai. She was also the first woman auto driver in Mumbai.
